Free printable letter S worksheets

This is a set of three free printable letter S worksheets for little people who’re getting ready for phonics.

It’s ideal for children who are starting school and learning the alphabet – or for preschoolers.

You can find the download link at the bottom – but let’s talk about this a little first.

What can I do with these letter S printables?

When your child’s learning the alphabet at the beginning of phonics, they need to learn to recognise each letter and also to form it correctly.

These worksheets for the letter S will help with both of these skills.

There’s a letter S tracing worksheet, a ‘trace and match s worksheet’ where they match the letter s to objects beginning with that sound and a ‘find the letter s’ activity where they have to pick out one letter among many.

In addition, the worksheets all include opportunities to color, which is good fine motor control practice that many children enjoy.
