This is a set of three free printable letter A worksheets.
Use them with your children who’re starting school and learning the alphabet or getting started with phonics.
You can find the download link at the bottom of the page – but first, let’s talk about what to do with them…
What can I do with these letter A printables?
When your child’s learning the alphabet at the beginning of phonics, they need to learn to recognise each letter and also to form it correctly.
These worksheets for the letter A will help with both of these skills.
There’s a letter A tracing worksheet, a ‘trace and match A worksheet’ where they match the letter A to objects beginning with that sound and a ‘find the letter A’ activity where they have to pick out one letter among many.
In addition, your child can colour them in if they like – it’s good fine motor control practice that many children enjoy.
